The second edition of the Find Your Calling Art Residency Program is happening between October – December, 2018. Program includes professional mentorship with founders of 700DCC; Sinem Kocayaş & Cihan Şirolu. Founding director of b.a.z.e.n; Sezen Tonguz. And founding director of Atelier Muse; Müge Olacak. Venue partnerships of ÇATI Contemporary Dance Artists Association and Studio Dutluk.
About Program
This year, the program is extended to three modules;
1) Artistic production: This year, Atelier Muse hosts artists for their production and public integration process in Istanbul. The artists are;
- Yeşim Us, Interdisciplinary Contemporary Artist, TR
- Özlem Güldemir & Johannes Rohloff, Literature & Video artists, DE
- Benedetta Reuter, Choreographer and dancer & Bassem Hawar and Nicola Hein Musicians, DE
- Sezen Tonguz, Choreographer and dancer, PT
- Sole Medina, Choreographer and dancer, CL
2) Professional Mentorship: This module is developed to answer the need in arts field to be equipped in business development, entrepreneurship and for young artists, artistic production with the experience of our mentors, earned via running arts and cultural programs and strategic marketing programs.
3) Performance and Exhibition Program: At the end of the program, a performance and exhibition program as Find Your Calling Istanbul is being presented to share the works produced during the residency period. In addition to that local artists are also invited to present their works mainly in contemporary dance and performance field with the aim of exchange of knowhow and experience among artists and arts professionals with discussions, exhibition and performance showings and networking events.

Atelier Muse is a creative initiative as an arts and culture consultancy office that implements new approaches to arts and culture field by carrying out interdisciplinary cross-sectoral projects. Atelier Muse adopts a global and collaborative point of view with partners sharing the same vision as being present and actively productive in life.
Atelier Muse Residency Program, among other projects, initiated in 2017, is the realisation of a lifelong dream of its founder Müge Olacak to add value to life by coming together, exchanging knowledge and creativity with curiosity. The program is established to host artists from all around the world, creating a bridge of understanding between cultures and leveraging the knowhow and qualifications of arts and culture field. Istanbul, a city that is both Asian and European, is without a doubt the best place to get stimulated and inspired. The organisation shares its founder’s believe, that art is a remedy for growing divisions and conflicts in today’s societies and we are able find a common ground by working together in creating it. While program focuses on contemporary dance, performance, writing and new media arts, it is also open for artists who works on social causes independently of disciplines.
